Houshi Fringing Reef 厚石裙礁
Houshi Fringing Reef lies mainly between Dafu port and HaiTzuKou along the southeastern coast of Liuqiu. Stretching along the coast and eroded by the sea, the fringing coral reefs developed into unique platforms with rough and uneven surfaces.

Beside the road, one of the coral formations eroded by the sea into the shape of a column is named Guanyin Rock as it looks like Guanyin (Goddess of Mercy) standing still. It seems that Guanyin Rock stands on the coast protecting the islanders’ fishing boats on the sea. Another coral formation standing nearby with banyan trees on its top is called Hongfan Rock as it looks like an Indian.
